The Message is a new podcast following the weekly reports and interviews from Nicky Tomalin, who is covering the decoding of a message from outer space received 70 years ago.
That’s the iTunes description. So if you’re looking for grammatically correct, concise-thinking, there you have it. And then there’s my description:
Slight Arrival vibe for the linguistics, but briefer. Slight Avatar feel, but less blue people. I love the theme song to this, which is kind of a pointless thing to love about it, but I do. Regardless, not the point. For the complexity of what this podcast revolves around, it’s easy to grasp. It’s got a Homecoming and Limetown feel. I will be honest, though. The name sucks. The Message? Lame.
A friend introduced me to this one because apparently the second season, Life After is freaking amazing and addicting. So I listened to The Message with the sole intent of getting to the next podcast, but really, I thoroughly enjoyed it. If you do listen, just know that the cover photo on iTunes is the Life After picture.
